Cloud Now is a cloud-powered technology blog dedicated to exploring, experimenting with, and sharing the latest in cloud computing tools and services. Built from the ground up using Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) tools like Amazon EC2, Route 53, and WordPress, our platform serves both as a learning hub and a live portfolio project.
We aim to demystify cloud technologies by documenting real-world setups, hands-on experiments, and comparisons between cloud solutions like IaaS and SaaS. Whether you’re a student, developer, or tech enthusiast, Cloud Now offers clear, practical insights into the infrastructure that powers modern applications.
This website is a personal project created by Almir Cavalcante Filho as part of my IT studies and passion for cloud computing.
I personally:
- Deployed the virtual server (EC2) using AWS
- Configured domain management using Route 53
- Installed and secured WordPress with Let’s Encrypt SSL
- Designed the branding and logo
- Built backup automation with PowerShell + SSH + SCP
